Cows have horns? Yes. But you won't see them because they're usually removed in a painful process.

Dan Paden, PETA's Director of Cruelty Investigations, talks to Emil Guillermo about how dairy farms routinely mutilate and burn the heads of young calves. A PETA eyewitness has submitted video of the practice to law enforcement in Wisconsin that could lead to criminal cruelty charges.

Dehorning, or dis-budding of cow horns is a mutilation process that subjects young calves to extreme pain. Paden says it's all done for the convenience of the dairy farmers, and not the welfare of the cows.
