Dan Paden talks to Emil Guillermo about PETA's investigation of Hemopet, a dog blood bank in California, and how an eyewitness uncovered numerous cases of animal abuse at the Hemopet facilities. Animals were caged, neglected, became sick, and all while being drained for their blood every two weeks for up to two years.
Hemopet services more than 2,000 vet clinics in the nation.
Most vets and their customers may not understand where and how the blood used for transfusions is sourced.
Find out what you can do.
