Dr. Alka Chanda, VP of PETA's Laboratory Investigations Department talks to Emil Guillermo about the terrible conditions at places that sell animals for exploitation. Companies like Moulton Chinchilla Ranch, Oak Hill Genetics, Ruby Fur Farm and the Oakwood Research facilities raise animals for laboratory research. Hard to imagine there's a fate worse than that, but the lives animals lead at the pre-lab facilities are routinely foul and decrepit. Now PETA has obtained photos and video of the facilities taken by the regulators, the USDA itself. But despite horrible conditions, companies are merely cited and see the small fines as the cost of doing business. Join PETA in forcing the USDA to yank the companies' licenses to end the supply trade.
