"Tiger King," Season 2 is out on Netflix. But there would be no story if it weren't for the lawsuits filed by PETA. Brittany Peet of PETA's Captured Animal Legal Enforcement division tells Emil Guillermo how lawsuits using the Endangered Species Act brought about aggressive enforcement from the feds. It's the reason more than 350 animals have been rescued, the exotic wildlife business has hit rock bottom, and Joe Exotic remains behind bars.
Peet updates us from her last appearance on the podcast in the summer.
And she tells us about what happened to the animals as Joe Exotic's operation was shutdown.
