At one point in life, Jonathan Horn mushed. J.J. tried dogsledding just once, but it let J.J. know firsthand the cruelty of the activity. J.J. saw what it did to the lead dog, Bianca. Horn, now a PETA campaigner, talks about how J.J. uses Bianca's memory to fight for the end of the grand symbol of dogsledding, the Iditarod. Horn was just coming back from Alaska and on the way to another PETA demonstration when J.J. took some time at an airport to talk with Emil Guillermo about the just-completed 50th Iditarod. It's still a cruel enterprise that has no real purpose but to subject hundreds of dogs to real suffering.

Note: While the race winner was named, the race continues until the last participant finishes. The number of dogs injured or pulled from the race will likely be higher than first reported.

Take action to end the Iditarod.
