PetSmart Managers Guilty of Animal Cruelty, But Keep Jobs?  Also: Stopping Monkey Shipments; Remembering Dellums, a Civil Rights Champ for the Animals

PETA Sr. VP Kathy Guillermo and  Dan Paden

A PETA Investigation brought law enforcement to retrieve at risk animals at PetSmart in Nashville, now the three employees charged with animal cruelty have pleaded guilty.

And yet PetSmart has allowed them to keep their manager jobs.

Dan Paden talks to host Emil Guillermo about what that says about PetSmart’s commitment to animals.

Don’t patronize PetSmart.

PETA CELEBRATES ANOTHER VICTORY—One airline gives up leaving just one more that ships monkeys to labs.

AirbridgeCargo Airlines has agreed to stop shipping monkeys from Asia to the US where the monkeys end up abused in useless research.

PETA’S Kathy Guillermo talks about the significance of stopping the shipment of monkeys primarily to laboratories in the U.S.

One other airline remains, AirFrance.

Go to and take action.

Guillermo also mentions California Congressman Ron Dellums, a civil rights fighter who early on understand the connection between civil rights and animal rights.
