Dan Mathews has been with PETA for more than three decades. He talks about how gratifying it is to see the historic changes in the fashion world. After meeting recently with high fashion houses, Mathews says there is a real push for non-fur, totally vegan products.

He also talks with Emil Guillermo about how his own life of activism that has found the connection between animal rights and gay rights. Mathews provides a sense of history to an evolving movement that includes civil disobedience, celebrity, and the search for justice and attention in the public eye.
