PETA's Brittany Peet, Deputy General Counsel for Captive Animal Law Enforcement talks to Emil Guillermo about Joe Exotic's resentencing. The Year of the Tiger did not bring good luck to the Tiger King, known in real life as Joe Maldonado Passage. Convicted in a murder-for-hire scheme, Passage got his sentence reduced from 22 to 21 years. Peet talks about how the impact of the Netflix series helped PETA's work to shut down the tiger cub petting industry. She also talks about the new focus, bear cub petting, and how to stop the abuse at roadside zoos. Another success story has been Dolly the Bear, the 76th bear rescued by PETA. CALE found her at a defunct roadside zoo.
