SEE UPDATE BELOW: Arrest made after man attacks PETA investigator

A "suicide race" is what jockeys call the sprints young horses are forced to run to get top dollar at places like the Ocala Breeders Sale in Florida. On April 10, 2024, a horse raced to its death, a jockey was hurt, and the president of the sale allegedly assaulted a PETA investigator who captured it all on video. Kathy Guillermo, PETA Sr. VP on Equine Matters describes what happened and why these dangerous race practices must end.
